These different opinions can create ongoing conflict and increased emotionality when attempting to make the best parenting decisions for their children.
Ms. Wells’s approach provides a safe and structured environment where parents can learn to work together, understand the other’s perspective, and develop the most appropriate parent plan and strategies for their children and family. Ms. Wells’s immediate goal is to facilitate an agreement with both parents that is in the children’s best interest. Long term, her goal of parent coordination is to shape future interactions and teach families positive ways to co-parent.
