I am an advanced-year student at the University of Maryland, School of Social Work pursuing my graduate degree. Through my academic journey and practicum, I have learned client- centered and strength-based approaches and gained experience working with other modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic therapy. I believe in meeting clients where they are and aim to create a safe, empowering space where they can navigate their personal challenges and achieve greater well-being. I am also bilingual! This skill allows me to bridge language barriers and provide culturally competent care to Spanish-speaking individuals and communities. I look forward to working with clients of all backgrounds and ages and promoting mental health through compassionate, client-centered care.
“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes, it’s the quiet voice at the end of the day that says “I
will try again tomorrow.” -Mary Anne Radmacher
