Kim Wells, LCSW-C is a licensed clinical social worker with 30 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in working with individuals and families who may be experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, childhood challenges, or other behavioral disorders. Kim is SPACE trained. She is a sought-after court Certified Parent Coordinator who works with families going through separation and divorce, facilitates reunification with parents, and helps resolve visitation and custody concerns. Ms. Wells is considered a leading expert in helping families go through life transitions, interpersonal issues, and overall adjustments to daily life. Ms. Wells is dedicated to assisting families in resolving difficult matters and promoting healthy productive parent involvement in their children’s lives for the betterment of all.

Ms. Wells graduated Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has been a licensed social worker in Maryland since 1998 and is board-certified. Ms. Wells has completed over 150 hours of EMDR training and supervision and is a member of EMDRIA, is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), completed a two year certificate program in Psychoanalytic Therapy, is a Certified Trauma Specialist, has extensive training and experience with Reunification Therapy and Resist-Refusal families, is a Court approved Parent Coordinator, and provides expert testimony in related cases. She is an avid learner who continuously reads and attends trainings and workshops to further enhance her clinical skills. She practices the quote, “in the worst of times, I did the best of things” by looking at childhood and current messages that hinder present functioning and replacing them with healthier messages and strategies. Ms. Wells finds it a privilege to empower people in a non-judgmental way to find their “best life.”
