Taysue Morris

Psychotherapist

Taysue Morris is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, children’s book author, advocate, innovator, and doctoral candidate at The George Washington University, pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Family Science from Towson University.

Taysue is passionate about helping individuals uncover the power in their personal stories. She works with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults, using a compassionate and culturally grounded approach that integrates narrative therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions. Her areas of expertise include ADHD, depression, anxiety, anger management, trauma, and school-based challenges, particularly those involving IEP and 504 accommodations.

As both a clinician and a creator, Taysue founded Story Crafters, an innovative therapeutic writing program that empowers youth and clients to write and publish their own books as a form of healing, identity exploration, and voice development. Through her work as an author and therapist, she helps others see that storytelling can transform pain into purpose and cultivate self-efficacy, confidence, and hope.
