Finding the right therapist matters. At Olney Counseling Center, you are not expected to sort through profiles and guess who might be the best fit.  We take a thoughtful, team-based approach to matching so you feel supported from the beginning.

Our clinicians bring a wide range of training, experience, and perspectives. Together, our team works with children, teens, adults, seniors, couples, and families, and includes providers with specialized experience in trauma, high-conflict family systems, court-involved cases, neurodiversity, and life transitions.

We use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT-informed strategies, trauma-focused care including EMDR, and family-centered models. The specific approach depends on your needs, your goals, and what feels most helpful for you.

Our Team

Justin Johnson
Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, evidence-based care for children, adolescents and adults. Specializes in psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, individualized treatment planning and psychotropic medication management.
Kim Wells
Parent Coordinator, Reunification Therapist, Parent Coach, EMDR Specialist, and SPACE trained Psychotherapist for ages 5-100 year olds who are struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, OCD, PTSD, trauma and issues related to high conflict separation and divorce. Ms. Wells specializes in resist-refuse dynamics and parent-child contact problems and works with attorneys and the courts to repair and rebuild the parent-child relationship.
Amy Miller
Psychotherapist who works primarily with seniors at our Leisure World and Olney offices. Ms. Miller uses her compassion, education and training to assist seniors who may be struggling with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Kathleen
Psychotherapist who works with ages 12+ to 100 years old who are struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment issues and overall acceptance of themselves and their lives. Ms. Ciliberto uses her training in ACT to help patients accept difficulties, build resilience and to become more flexible in their thinking.
Lindsey
Psychotherapist who specializes in working with neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ communities and/or identifies with non-traditional relationship structures. Ms. Dantzler uses her background in the school system to assist her in understanding and providing appropriate strategies for the children, teens and adults that she treats.
Lisa
Psychologist who specializes in working with adults and seniors at our Olney and Leisure World offices. Ms. Hawkins-Eidson has more than 9 years of psychotherapy experience with senior adults in assisted living, rehabilitation, and long-term care settings.
Lauren Hughes
Psychotherapist who specializes in working with neurodivergent children, adolescents and adults. Ms. Hughes brings a wealth of neuroscience knowledge that helps inform her treatment in a caring and compassionate way.
Taysue Morris
Reunification Therapist, Parent Coach and Psychotherapist for ages 8-65 year olds who are struggling with separation, divorce and reunification. Ms. Morris uses her vast knowledge and training to help repair and rebuild parent-child relationships. She also specializes in ADHD, depression, anxiety, anger management, trauma and school-based challenges, particularly those involving IEP and 504 accommodations.
Tracy Orwig
I am a licensed clinical social worker with 30 years of experience in various settings including nursing homes/rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and non-profit organizations. My passion for social work began in college where I majored in Sociology and minored in Psychology. I continued my career path to clinical social work by obtaining my Master degree in Social Work, with a clinical health specialization.
